Essays are probably my favorite form of writing, even if I've had the least amount of success in publishing them. It's such a challenge to condense a story, the characters, the feelings, an entire little world of emotion, a snapshot in time _ in just about 800 words. It exists as reality just for the moment you created it and then it's ether.
